Made by heating pure refined linseed oil, Stand Oil by Gamblin is a thickened version of Refined Linseed Oil that wets pigments well. Adding this oil medium to oil colors will increase flow and gloss and slows the dry time. Once dried, the artist will notice that the colors have a smooth, enamel-like finish. Stand Oil is best used to create high-viscosity paintings and glazing.
