Thank you for your interest in the "Artist of the Month" exhibit. Each month, the gallery area to the side of the main part of Phoenix Art Supplies & Framing, which we have dubbed "The Little Gallery", will feature a new local artist. In the gallery, a chosen artist's work will hang for exhibit. There may be up to 20 pieces of original, hanging artwork and a flip-through stand of up to another 20 “portfolio” pieces; such as works on paper or prints. All artwork will must be available for purchase.
To celebrate the artist's work, each Artist of the Month will have a reception on a Friday night early in the month of their exhibit. The reception will include a meet-and-greet with the artist, good conversation with other art appreciators, and light refreshments.
The only criteria to apply for Artist of the Month is the artist must be a regular and recent customer of Phoenix Art Supplies & Framing.

In the email, include:
• Subject line: "Artist of the Month Entry — Last Name"
• Full Name
• Phone Number
• Email Address
• Three photos or images of your artwork
• Any month(s) that you are not available — in the coming 8 months. (You must be able to deliver/pickup your artwork and attend the opening reception.)
There is no submission fee.
If, upon receiving your emailed images, further consideration for an exhibit of your work is to be made, a staff member of Phoenix Art Supplies & Framing will contact you to schedule an informal portfolio review for final determination and, possibly, selection of pieces to be exhibited. Upon selection, the you must provide a brief biography and photo of artwork.
When delivering artwork, all hanging pieces must be ready–to–hang with framed or finished edges and a wire (or suitable hook). Portfolio pieces must not be framed (but can be matted) and in plastic sleeves suitable for artwork display. The staff of Phoenix Art Supplies & Framing is happy to explain this further. Also, exhibiting artist may purchase picture framing and display material at a discounted rate. Phoenix Art Supplies & Framing retains 20% off all artwork sales (before tax). The artist retains 80% of price work is sold for.The artist must attend the opening reception.
