Custom picture framing is not without its challenges. This beautifully painted still life is unique because, in addition to the fruits, there is a paper bag in the scene. The challenge here was how to complement this painting without overpowering the wonderfully rendered bag. So, a brown frame of a similar tone and texture to the bag was chosen; which also helps accent the visual depth of this painting. Then, a gold filet is used as an inner frame to further accent the gold colors of the fruit.
