The Featured Artist of November 2019 is Ilene Rubin. Ilene paints Bucks County landscapes with attention to detail. Her paintings are rich with color, which brings her landscapes to life. Ilene says, "What a viewer may remark is an invitation to walk in and look around. My job is to understand that capturing the ordinary can reveal the compelling."
A resident of Doylestown, and formerly of California and Colorado, Ilene has exhibited extensively in shows and group exhibits throughout Bucks County. Her works have also been shown in Colorado and California. In addition to painting, Ilene is a published author of two psychological murder mysteries.
Join Ilene at a Meet & Greet on Saturday, November 2nd from 2–4 pm at Phoenix Art Supplies and Framing. At the Meet & Greet, you can talk to Ilene about her work, her inspiration and the path she travelled to reach this point. Her work will be on display for the month of November during regular business hours.
